These terms cover using this website and making a booking enquiry through it. No payment is taken on this site, and submitting the enquiry form does not create a booking on its own.
1. About these terms
This website is operated by Kent Axell, a performing psychological illusionist and mentalist based in Las Vegas, Nevada. By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. Using this website
You may use this website to learn about the services offered and to make an enquiry. You must not:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it
- Submit false, misleading or automated enquiries
- Copy, republish or redistribute content from the site except as set out below
- Interfere with the site's operation or its security measures
We may withdraw or change the site, or restrict access to it, at any time and without notice. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available.
3. Services offered
Kent Axell provides live performance services — described on this website as stage shows for theatres and casinos, corporate events, trade shows, and private celebrations. These are booked as live engagements for a specific date and venue.
No products are sold through this website, and no payment is taken on it. The website is a marketing and enquiry tool only.
4. Enquiries and how a booking is made
Submitting the enquiry form is a request for information and availability. It is not a booking, not an offer you can accept, and it does not reserve a date.
A booking is only made when it is confirmed separately in writing between you and Kent Axell. That separate agreement — not this website — sets the fee, the date, the venue, the performance details and the terms that apply to the engagement.
5. Pricing and payment
No prices are published on this website, and no payment can be made through it. Fees are quoted individually in response to an enquiry, because they depend on the date, location, format and length of the performance.
6. Cancellations and refunds
These terms apply unless your signed booking agreement says otherwise. Where the two differ, the booking agreement takes precedence.
How a booking is secured
A booking is confirmed once a deposit of 50% of the agreed fee has been paid. The remaining balance is due no later than the day of the performance, unless agreed otherwise in writing. No payment is taken through this website — payment details are arranged directly.
If you cancel
Accepting a booking means the date is held exclusively for you and other work for that date is turned down. The deposit is therefore non-refundable. If you cancel, the following applies based on how much notice is given before the performance date:

Any travel or accommodation already booked and not recoverable is payable in addition, and will be evidenced on request.
Postponement
A confirmed booking may be moved once to an alternative date within 12 months, subject to availability, at no extra charge. Your deposit transfers to the new date. If no mutually workable date can be found, the booking is treated as a cancellation and the table above applies from the date you asked to postpone.
If Kent cancels
If we cancel for any reason other than one outside our control, you receive a full refund of everything paid, including the deposit. We will also make reasonable efforts to recommend a replacement performer of comparable standing, though we cannot guarantee one will be available.
Circumstances outside either party's control
Neither party is liable for failing to perform because of something genuinely outside their control — including serious illness or injury, bereavement, venue closure, government restrictions, extreme weather, or travel disruption.
Where this happens, both parties will first make reasonable efforts to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, you receive a refund of everything paid less any costs already incurred that cannot be recovered, which will be evidenced.
Refunds
Any refund due is paid within 14 days, using the same method you paid by unless we agree otherwise.
7. Intellectual property
The content of this website — including the text, design, photography and video — is owned by Kent Axell or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
You may view the site and print or download extracts for your own personal, non-commercial use, or to evaluate booking a performance. You may not otherwise reproduce, distribute, modify or publish any part of it without written permission.
The performance material itself — the routines, scripts and methods used in the show — remains the intellectual property of Kent Axell. Recording a performance is only permitted if agreed in advance in writing.
Third-party names and logos shown on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used to identify past clients. Their appearance does not imply any endorsement, sponsorship or ongoing relationship.
8. Your responsibilities
When you contact us or engage us, you are responsible for:
- Giving accurate information about your event, venue and requirements
- Having the authority to make the booking on behalf of whoever is paying
- Making sure the venue can provide what the performance needs, as agreed in advance
- The conduct and safety of your guests at the event
9. Accuracy of website content
We try to keep this website accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free. Descriptions of shows, formats and running times are indicative and may be adapted to suit your event. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, and availability shown or implied here is not a guarantee that a date is free.
10. Limitation of liability
This website is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website, and for any reliance placed on its content.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
11. Privacy
Personal information submitted through this website is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this website, are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States. The courts of the State of Nevada have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you engage us to perform outside Nevada, the booking agreement for that engagement may specify different terms, and those will apply to the engagement itself.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you use the site is the version that applies, and the "last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
